August 20, 2010 - What a fabulous day we had on
August 20th! While it was a hot and humid, the
skies were blue and 44 players came out to support our
mission to end pediatric brain cancer. This was our
first year at the Golf Club at Felicita in Harrisburg,
PA, and what a great event it was! The greatest
compliment that we receive is how well-organized this
event is year after year.
We had an upset this year, with defending Champions
Team Con-Way losing to a new team - one our our Hershey
teams. Congratulations to Gerard Cooke, Troy
Grubb, Bob Grubb and Steve Hostetter, who came in at 60
for the day!
Paula Bauer and Dan Riley won the opportunities to
try for the $5,000 putting and $100,000 hole-in-one
contests. Unfortunately, the both missed the
target.
